Nigeria: South East Govs Set Up Joint Security Committee

Enugu — Governors of the South-East states, yesterday, set up a joint security committee headed by the General Officer Commanding 82 Division of Nigerian Army, Enugu, Major-General Olayinka Oshinowo, to recommend ways of tackling the rising problem of insecurity in the zone.The committee, which membership was drawn from various security agencies, including the Army, Police and Air Force, is expected to submit its report to the Forum of South-East Governors within two weeks.
