Jos: Fulani, Berom Leaders Agree To Resolve Issues Amicably

The Plateau State Commissioner of Police Emmanuel Dipo Ayeni has called on both Fulanis and Beroms to sheathe their swords and embrace the path of peace as elders from both sides resolved to settle their differences amicably.The police commissioner’s appeal followed the killing of a man in Ruku village of Barkin Ladi last Saturday.Ayeni said the command would prosecute persons who are involved in escalating the crisis in Barkin Ladi as a way of bringing lasting peace to the area since all approaches to peace through appeals and dialogue in the area were futile.
